Earth & Soil
Black earth is a soil that includes organic matter which acts as a rich mild fertilizer, enhancing the growth of seed or sod. Because of the nature of the soil, it tends to retain water better than screened soils. It's also great for gardens.
Top soil is a screened soil, it may contain small stones, but for the most part is a fairly fine material that is ideal for leveling or building raised area that will be sodded.
Mixed soils are typically a blend of top soil and black earth, it's a balanced soil that helps retain moisture and has a certain amount of flowerbed building properties.
